Charming church surrounded by flower-filled meadows. Above Seis. To pause and find new energy. A place of spiritual energy with artistic and historic importance.

Hidden deep in the forest. Nestled on the rockface of Santner. Mystical, shrouded in myth, and steeped in legend. Remnants of walls hint at their former glory – and emit a mysterious power. On the summer solstice (21 June), the first rays of the rising sun reach over the edge of Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm and shine on the Castelvecchio/Hauenstein and Salego/Salegg ruins in a precise line.

One of Italy’s cleanest bathing lakes at 1,036 metres above sea level. A biotope amidst rugged mountain giants. Swim with a view of the Sciliar/Schlern massif and the imposing Punta Santner/Santnerspitze. Easy to reach, but still somewhat off the beaten path. Pure paradise.

The highest point of Sciliar/Schlern. 2,563 metres above sea level. We love the summit tour around Pez/Petz. An outdoor paradise all year round.

Possibly the most beautiful village centre in Val Gardena/Grödner Tal. Shopping, Ladin culture, and cuisine. Pastures and mountains just a cable-car ride away. A dream destination for mountaineers, the home of Luis Trenker and the world-famous wood-carving workshops.

Built in the 17^th century at 1,200 metres above sea level by the lords of Völsegg, who took a vow: If the Black Death spared them, they would dedicate a chapel to St Sebastian. And that’s how it came to be. Can be reached via an easy hiking path from Tiers.

A 45-minute walk from St. Zyprian, you’ll find a small lake in which Catinaccio/Rosengarten is enchantingly reflected. Our tip: You can take particularly spectacular photos when the sun is low in the sky and the rockfaces take on a red hue. Then: savour the moments on the Alpine meadow until your journey of culinary indulgence at Sensoria Dolomites. Perfect.

Reflection and contemplation. A place of worship facing the east according to ancient tradition. Laid out in the shape of a dove: The bell tower symbolises the beak, the side entrances the wings.

Wildly romantic valley. Past idyllic streams, through spruce woods, over lush meadows. Up to 2,100 metres above sea level. And stop for refreshments in the Grasleiten hut. With a view of Catinaccio/Rosengarten massif. So close to the Dolomites, incomparably beautiful.
